Hi All,
I need a fax program for use on my home PC. I do NOT need one for a company wide network, like RightFax. I just need to find one that works on a stand alone home PC that uses a cable modem high speed connection to the Internet. I just found out that Symantec has officially dropped all support for WinFax Pro 10.x & 9x. See link: http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoffice/support/productdetail/discontinued.jsp?pid=winfax

So now I need another home based faxing program. Does anyone know of a really good, versatile home faxing software that will work with a cable modem Internet connection rather than a standard modem connection utilizing a land line? I would appreciate any help in this matter. I thank you all in advance for your assistance.

I would recommend Efax. They’re probably the best fax software out there.

I have a friend with vista 64 bit and we cannot find him a free fax program like efax messanger that works with vista 64 bit. Lots of free trials, but not interested in that. And what about winfax? How does that work? What is the cost? How do you intall/get it?

I have used this free fax site several times. Its great if you only fax twice a day.

It does post an ad on the fax but its free and everything I have sent went through without a problem.
