Has anyone used a USB turntable that connects to your PC to transfer vinyl on to your computer?

Were you able to successfully rip and save the music to your computer? Was it worth buying one? I am interested in the Ion turntable, but I would like to hear other people’s experiences with a USB turntable before I make a purchase
