Question : How long do Virgin Mobile prepaid phones last? My boyfriend is arriving to visit me from Japan (I live in the USA) and he is going to need a phone. I wanted to order the Virgin Mobile Oyster since it’s cheap and it comes with a 20 dollar card. However, my boyfriend will only be here for a week and then he’s coming back in December to visit. How long are virgin mobile phones active? Will the phone expire come December and I need to buy a new one?

Question : What’s the best way to charge a new cell phone battery to make it last the longest? I’ve owned 3 cell phones so far and all of them had bad battery life. They would usually last a day or a day and a half after each charge. For my last 2 phones, I followed Cingular’s advice and charged the battery for 24 hours before using the phone. But that just made it worse. I have a Sony w600 phone and the battery is supposed to last 4-5 days. What’s the best way to charge a new cell phone battery?
