Question : HDTV Channels? I just got my hdtv setup but i don’t know how to change the channels from 4.1 to 4.2 i just go from 4 to 5 hdtv channels

Answer by PoohBearPenguinGo into the TV’s setup menu, and have it do an automated scan to find all available channels. This should pickup whatever HD channels are available.

Question : What do real time channels mean on a 16 ch DVR card pertaining to video surveillance cameras? I am installing a security system with a 16 ch DVR card. I found a few cards online within my price range. Could you please explain to me what it means for a 16 ch DVR card to have only 4 real-time channels? Does this mean I can only view 4 cameras at a time? Will all 16 channels be able to record simultaneously? Also what are output channels for? Question : Do cable/satellite companies pay or get paid by cable channels to get carried? I was talking with a friend and we didnt know how this works. Do small cable channels (lets say I wanted to start my own cable channel) pay satellite/cable companies to carry them? They make their revenue on advertisements, so it would make sense they would want the most visibility. But on the other hand, it seems like cable/satellite companies have an incentive to carry as many channels as possible, so you would think they would need to pay to get access. Question : Does anyone own a pair of midland gxt1000 vp4 2 way radios and know the remaining 28 channels? from what i know about about standard 2 way radios they usually have 22 channels 14 FRS 8 GMRS however the midland gxt1000 vp4 as you can see has 50 channels do these channels fall under legal operating frequencies? or do they interfere with commercial radios? 2 way radios

Question : HDTV channels? I just recently bought a brand new Olevia LCD HDTV. When I brought it home and hooked it up, it asked me to do a channel search, so I did. It told me that I had 280 digital channels and 68 analog channels. But for some reason I can only search up to channel 107.3. Is there any tips on how I can access those other channels that it told me that I have? hdtv channels

Question : What is the easiest way to get basic HD channels on my projector? I’ve got an awesome HD projector that I mainly use for PS3 but I have watched basic cable on it by connecting the coax cable into an old VCR and then the video RCA into the projector because there is no coax input on the projector. With this in mind, is there anyway to get the basic HD channels on my projector? I thought maybe if I use one of those digital tuners but I got no signal because I already have cable and don’t use an antenna I’m assuming. What is my easiest and cheapest solution?
