What could go wrong, if I buy a cheap car?
I just want one with an auxiliary input. (The one I have now is a CD so I can get a cassette adapter) response from

I agree with D Moni. Buy pioneer for like $ 90.00 at walmart or somewhere and they work fabulous. He is right though sound will be bad and the DAC on them are pretty low which means when you hit a bump your CD player will skip at least 50% of the time.

You can find some really nice cheap car CD players here:

They have front auxiliary inputs for iPods and MP3 players and you have much more selection than Walmart, including the brands.
