It seems that electronics stores are eliminated cassette recorder for proposals for home entertainment center?
I’ve tried Radio Shack, PC Richards, Best Buy a little shady electronics stores with no refunds or so back, I want to clarify that I mean audio-cassettes, as I was born in 1974 and like to “mixed tapes”, etc. through the center of home entertainment, I mean that which you put your audio phonograph and tape recorder, CD player, ETC. In the end I know I’ll have to deal with his time and scan and / or live transmission of music on my tapes and I would like advice on how to do this, but there was my audio cassette player / recorder stolen I have not any way to play my tapes (except for one player) or mixed or new bands to find ways to rare and valuable records that (for me) and / or transfer that to my tapes to a contemporary format to use and application received my tapes and keep certain records, I can not find elsewhere (the same goes for albums etc, but I’m less concerned about this because I so far that can phonographs have seen on a CD and even an iPod) be transferred, but I can ‘t even know how to play my tapes, since they are cooked, I like my “mixed tape” to “mixed CD” turn on a burner. I should try pawn shops? Real estate sales? or the risk of the Fulton Street Mall (Brooklyn) or 14th St. electronics stores? (I live in Brooklyn, NY) estimate thank you for your time and attention to all the directives in this matter. Thanks in advance! JasonRéponse

Try ebay, you can find a lot of good tape decks on there. I got a CD burner a while back so I can transfer tapes onto CDs that way and even LP’s onto CD, or LP to tape, CD to tape etc. also don’t move away from tapes! I still use them and the more people that continue to use them the better! tapes are still the most convenient way for everyday recording. i’d rather just hit record then have to use a computer every time I want to simply record something. by the way I saw 2 models of boomboxes in wal mart the other day that feature a tape deck. one is made by sony.
