In many countries, disabled people like you have mentioned are of those who do not pursue exploitent.Ne amount of files and make them stop, they get a social worker in loi . Puis more protected while they are in the fight against the investigation, it could work faster in this way then to sue them.

yes. small claims court. Fu.k that guy who said the other people have a right to keep the car, it’s worth well over 800$ or whatever, get your car back, go talk to the judge tell them the whole situation. If you don’t exercise your rights in the US then why the hell do you live here? After all it is your property correct? And if that doesn’t work then tell your daddy to go grab his shotgun and have a talk with them.
If the people told you to hold off on going to court and they told you a deal was to be made if you didn’t, then they went back on their word, then you’re in the wrong to NOT take them to court.
BTW your boyfriend now has no driving privileges or any responsibilities whatsoever. Thats all on your shoulders now, if you give him responsibilities he will ruin your life.

Your boyfriend was the legal owner of the vehicle, and he sold it for less than you say it was worth. The fact that you paid for a portion of the car does not give you any legal right to it. Your only claim for the money that you paid would be against your boyfriend.
The people who purchased the car are under no obligation to cancel the sale, unless you can prove that your boyfriend was legally incompetent to sign a contract, and that would cost more than the value of the vehicle. This would also most likely require that someone be appointed a guardian for your boyfriend, and that person (most likely not you) would then have control over his money and living arrangements.
Take the $ 800 that you got for the car, and the $ 500 additional that you were going to pay to buy the car back, and use that to buy another car in your name.
