How do I set up my home theater equipment in another room?
I moved into a new house and the main room is furnished strange and the only place for the television above the fireplace. There is a small room in the corner that the previous owner used it as a small office and I want all my devices (AV receiver, DVD player, cable box, etc.) y will they stick out of sight. Is it possible that I do and do it manually or with the remote control from the couch and not everything?

get a universal remote that does not add to radio frequency (RF) or the ability to RF.fréquence radio through the line of works on site work, It even works through walls and generally excellent selection of subjects or IR infrarouges.Harmany Logitech worth a visit. These activities are excellent remote database. House

there are kits in the market today that can convert infrared signals into electrical signals then back to infrared where the av equipment is. this can be done wirelessly (RF) or wired. the kits are called infrared repeaters. they have many components. a sensor reads signal. a main control unit distributes signals(wirelessly to another control unit or wired to the flashers), then infrared flashers or emitters shoot the infrared beam at each component. click on the site below for more details.
an alternative is to get a universal RF remote which doesnt require a line of sight to work. the remote sends signals to a contol unit where the signals are distributed to infrared flashers on the components to be controlled. this way, no wiring through the walls needs to be done. that can also be possible by using RF to transport signals from sensor to flasher (mentioned in above paragraph) if u prefer a cheaper infrared remote.
