I just went in a store car audio installs and he had put a box over the bar. You dealerships sell used audio equipment and, if so, I hope it works well. and do last a while

Some, if for sale in good condition, but still used pawnshop.

PVT, you are an idiot. I have bought numerous car audio items used, and have had no problems yet. The HU I am running in my truck I bought at a pawn shop, have had no problems with it; my sub amp, same thing- no problems. You have to use some common sense, and have them test it first in front of you. Also, don’t buy crap brands, new or used.
OP: That could be Poly-Fill that they put in the box, or another box, and that one was sitting next to them. Ask. Some sell used gear, and should have it in a separate area- not next to the new stuff.

They sometimes do, but if an item is used they should let you know upfront. It should be your choice whether or not you want to buy used equipment. Be cautious , some unscrupulous dealers may try and sell used equipment as new. I am not sure if this is the case for you,but if you are asking the question, you may already feel that they have. Good luck with this issue.
