Is it possible to hook a surround sound system in a car?
Can I hook a surround sound system in my car, and you only use an inverter stuck in the house? I mean, the whole system is an amplifier, is not it?

If I threatened the surround sound system with a kick at home round, he would hook on.
well…ya you “could” hook up a surround system in your car…but it probably won’t work right for a “surround” system.
Mainly due to timing and placement of the speakers. In a house or theater room, you have SPACE to space out the speakers right. In a car you don’t. So some sounds will come out wrong due to distance etc.
also realize that the car is not a “clean” environment for surround. Probably get echoing or cancellation of sound again, due to placement of the speakers. Also mounting the speakers could be an issue. You’ll have to fabricate brackets or braces or something to mount them in. So the gear does not go flying all over the place. Anyway…in theory yes you can hook it up.
will it be practical? and or will it work well?! I would not think that it would be practical. Trying to find places to mount….making sure the timing/distances are right for the speakers. Will it work well? probably not….not without a lot of tweaking.
