Question : ip camera configuration over the internet problems?
Hello, I bought an ip cam wireless so i can see over the internet. i can see good with the software of the camera. i have been reading and they suggest to open a fowarding port on the router. well i did an FTP( i hope that is the correct cuz there are many options..http,ip_phone..) and what should i type in the browser to access this IPcamera. i also opened an account and configure on the camera settings… exactly what should i type in the browser? please Help
HI again i opened an account on dyndns.com .. it is xxxxxx.dyndns.info but when i click on link insite of dyndns.com … it says “You don’t currently have a Dynamic DNS Pro service in your account”… is it that what do i need on my browser to open. because when i use it.. it didnt go thru :(

You need to know the exact IP address of you connection. Better to subscribe to dynamic dns, then you can use the name. An that is NOT ftp, it is http.
