Question : CB radio with Regular 2 way hand held radios?
Hey there im thinking about buying a cool old CB radio and i was wondering, if it was properly tuned, that i could comunicate with it to my simple 2 way hand held radios (walkie talkies).

CB radio works on a lower frequency band than the hand helds. CB operates at around 27 Mhz, while the hand helds operate in the 462 Mhz area.
It depends on what your walkie-talkies operate on. Most WT’s operate on either the CB(11m) range which is in the 27MHz area or GMRS/FRS which is in the 462 and 467MHz range. Some of the older toy WT’s operated in the 49MHz range.
