Question : Christians and non what do you think of the US coming out with wiring and taping conversations by phone?
e-mail that is coming out of the US or coming in to the US? That will invade privacy. How do you feel about it? In a way it is a good thing so that terrorists will not get away with what they have. But also can you imagine that every conversation you have with family freinds etc will be monitered. So much for privacy. What next? The one world government?

it’s pretty crummy that it will happen, but really, if you didn’t see it coming, you’re blind (not ”you” personally, but you understand what i mean). we’re about three steps away from becoming a dictatorship, but noone seems to see it. they just say ”if it’s for our safety, it’s ok,” and they’re right, but they never question what the government is doing. what else is GPS about if it’s not about the government tracking everyone? these are all just little steps…
normally, i’m no conspiracy theorist, but i agree with you that our government is starting to go to far. they’re getting too big, and they’re sticking their nose where it doesn’t belong. i’m predicting that things like this will lead to the harassment of lots of innocent people. it’s reminiscent of what happened during the 50′s and 60′s during the cold war. i just wish we would all learn from history.

taping and wiring is done around the world by americans and non americans , whether it’s official or just done illegally.
i couldn’t care less , if it helps get the bad guys then it’s a good thing, if it’s just to keep people busy then it’s a waste of their money not mine.
anything to get terrorists and other bad guys other than sending innocent people to jail or torturing them could be tolerated by people. if you want to keep a conversation with your significant other private wait until they come home.
i still feel bad when i see so much hassle with security but i know it’s better than getting people killed.
i just think terrorists have evolved and probably won’t be stupid enough to discuss details on the phone. they don’t even do it in movies. -
