what would be the best combination of subwoofers ,amplifier and stereo system for a truck.?
Question : what would be the best combination of subwoofers ,amplifier and stereo system for a truck.?
The subs have to be 500watt or more and under $ 200 the amp has to be 1500 watt or more under $ 400, the stereo has to be detachable faceplate and under $ 250 with at least 4 output things.
How would you install it?

where do we begin. do soome more research then come back with detailed questions.
installing it? get a pro to do it. I installed my amp and subs myself. Later I left the components and eq for a friend to install for a small fee.

Your Best Choice would be:
-Stereo: Pioneer DEH-P7200HD $ 230 @Max
-Amplifier: Soundstream Tarantula Series (around $ 400-450)
Or Rockfordfostage amps are really reliable
-Subwoofer: JL Audio W7-W6
MTX subs are AWESOME…and for installation kit go to Wallmart and get the kit for $ 35! includes capacitor basically everything while at best-buy its about $ 150

first of all why the 500 watt baseline? and if you think you can get a 1500 watt amp for 400 bucks..you crazy! A good amp is about a dollar per watt..but here is what i come up with..well is it a single cab? thats what im assuming, you can get a box for about 50-80 bucks…buy some of the shallow mount subs..kicker makes a good shallow mount sub…so you got two 12′ shallow mount subs and those cost around 140 each(NOT SURE ON THE PRICE) and now the amp..rockford fosgate makes a 5 channel 1000 watt amp..really good amp you can power front and rear mids and highs and set the frequencies, and then there is a mono channel for the subs and this amp has come down in price probaly around 600-800$ ..and the deck could be an alpine detach for about 189bucks..if you want more info on installing email me and ill walk you through it….lonewolfsix9@yahoo.com
