Which photography college do you think is best?
Question : Which photography college do you think is best?
I’m having a (very) hard time deciding which photography college to look deeper into, theres a lot. Anyone have any suggestions?
I don’t have a preference where it is located. My budget.. is as cheap as possible but I’m sure I could handle almost any price.

in what area? the East Coast? Probably Pratt if your into the artistic side. Rochester Institute of Technology if your into the advertising side of it (they offer several majors just in photgraphy). It also depends on your budget. I’m a freshman in an art school for photography so if you want more details and such drop me an email.
My thought is you really don’t want option, but some experienced people commenting on this question.
I have been working as a photographer for over thirty years and of all the successful and competent photographers I have worked with or met seem to come from three photo schools.
Art Center, Brooks and RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology).
Yes there are other ways to learn the technical and visual aspects of becoming a photographer, but these three get to the heart of learning and saturate the student in all aspects of photography.
The statement I heard the most was “We want you to leave this school and be able to get an award winning image using someone else’s camera, in the middle of no where with an unknown light source.”
