We got our hands on the upcoming BlackBerry Bold 9700 from T-Mobile and decided to take it for a quick spin to demonstrate TeleNav GPS Navigator running on the phone. Our PR Manager Todd Witkemper hopped in his car for a quick trip to the bank and demonstrated some features of the application including spoken street names, our POI database of more than 10 million business listings and more.The BlackBerry Bold 9700 is launching soon and users will be able to purchase TeleNav GPS Navigator at launch.

@telenav Nokia phones are selling in Europe like Hot cakes as the maps are free and work very well. Blackberry is still not helping out it’s customers in an economic crisis worldwide maybe if they did Blackberry’s sales figures to move above Nokia’s anual sales figures. Give your customers incentives.

I HAVE THE 97OO BOLD AND ON SOME BB THE TELENAV HAS TO BE PAID FOR TO USE THE FULL VERSION…NO NEED TO WORRY..YOU CAN DO THE SAME SHIT WITH GOOGLEMAPS WHICH IS FREE..ALOT OF THESE APPS AVAILABLE ON APP WORLD ARE THINGS U CAN DO WITHOUT PAYING FOR THEM..LIKE THIS TELENAV..WALLPAPERS ARE ANOTHER…DONT PAY FOR THAT CRAP WHEN U CAN JUST SAVE ANY IMAGE AND MAKE IT YUR WALLPAPER…

can you use the maps part and not upgrade to the gps, and not get charged for it, because it shows me where i am, and when i click the option button it says upgrade to gps…..will i get charged for just using the maps?
