Question : Running Alpha4 (DOS) database software on XP Pro O/S, why does the program only fill the top half of monitor?
I was delighted to find that my favorite database software program, Alpha4 (similar to dBase3+) runs on my computer with XP Pro, but it only fills the top half of the screen. I have a feeling it has to do with setting the system configuration but don’t have a clue about how to make it work (I want it to fill the entire monitor.) Thanks in advance for your informed suggestions.

If it runs in 25 line mode, and your command window is set to 50 line mode, the program will only take up half the window.
