Question : worried about my CRT monitor? I am really worried about my CRT monitor Imploding or exploding. This monitor has seen some physical abuse in the past and now its making some weird flickering shades on it. Plus the screen went screwed up and went into menu after i did not touch the menu keys on the monitor, then i turned it off, then it did not turn back on. It stayed on a black screen with the light saying the monitor was on. I shut the system down and turned it back on after about 5 minutes.
