Click the “File” button, click “Open” and then browse to the “C:WindowsSystem32DriversEtc” folder. Click on the file named “Hosts” and then click “Open.”Step 3:
Modify the file by adding “127.0.0.1 http://www.blocksite.com” and “127.0.0.1 blocksite.com” to the bottom of the file on two separate lines. (This would block a site named blocksite.com; substitute the name of the site you want to block.)Step 4:
Save the file and exit the text editor. The website you entered is now blocked from your computer. -
