Is it safe to buy contact from an online website like lens.com?
Question : Is it safe to buy contact from an online website like lens.com?
I do have a prescription from the doctor, and know the size and type of contacts I need. I was just wanted to make sure that the contacts that are sold by the website are the same product sold by the doctors office.

if they have a license, then yeah. most of them do make them but have no license and ends up wrong for your eye, + you need to put your eye size and curve and that middle part thingy, go to a doctor and get all these info and put it on the site

It should be if they have a license and are well known. It would help if you had feedback from friends who have been there too.
But overall, they cannot specify it exactly to your eye – in the way opticians could, this could caution all kinds of permanent and painful damage.
If it were glasses you were buying online then that would be okay. But lenses – the size etc would be too vague.
Forget the cost and go to an optician. Where they can properly get you some sorted.You don’t wanna take a chance with something your sticking onto your eyeball.
