Question : I have to replace a projector lamp?
I bought a replacement lamp for a projector, but the lamp is 250 watts and on the projector it says max wattage of lamp should be 200 watts, is it the wrong lamp for the projector or will it be ok to install?

Does it show 200/250 ? If it does you will be OK to use it.

If not I would call them, to make sure you received the right bulb (compare part numbers), before you void the bulb warranty. Or get them to exchange it.
