How could I get my landline phone to readial busy numbers super fast?
Question : How could I get my landline phone to readial busy numbers super fast?
I enter radio contests quite frequently and my current landline phone redials the busy number really slow. Should I purchase another phone, if so which kind of phone? I am not interested in any other features other than placing and receiving calls and mainly the super fast redial feature.

Make sure you phone is on tone and not pulse.

Most phones have a redial button,as long as you do not dial another number,the redial button will call the same number.
Make sure you are in the tone mode-not pulse dialing.It is not the dialing speed,but the luck to be the winning caller that really matters.
If they want the 5th. caller,then you have to be the lucky 5th. caller.
The person at the radio station that answers the phone determines who the 5th. caller is.A lot of people start entering the contest number except for the last digit.
They enter the last digit as soon as the station starts taking calls,this floods the switchboard with calls almost at the same time.
It would take a computerized switchboard to pick the 5th. caller,otherwise you have to wait for a person to go through the first 5 calls to get a winner. -
