Question : what are these synergeyes and how different are they from toric lens? Are they worth a try or just wasteof time
Whats the success rate of these on Astigmatism. Are they just like toric lens which are horrible.Users Please give ur experiences with Synergeyes. Why are they so costly. IS it because they are new on the market. Will they do justice to their cost.
My Prescription is below:

Sphere Cylinder Axis

OD -1.50 +1.00 013
OS -1.75 +1.75 155

I would be 26 next month and had specs from last 2 yrs. Continously using specs from probably 1 yr.

was trying for toric contacts and tried
1.accuvue advance for astigmatism(rotating and not convenient too big for my eye it seems)
2.vertex toric
3.soflens66 toric
4.biomedics toric
and now 5.purevision torics( BC 8.7 Dia 14.0mm)
the problem is when I focus on the objects, I feel blurred for a sec and again the vision comes back but its happening very frequently.

The synergeyes contacts are a combination of RGP(hard) lenses and soft contacts. You are suppose to get better vision with a RGP because they dont rotate like the soft ones do. But they are very uncomfortable at first. So they came out with the synergeyes contacts with the hard lens in the center and a soft skirt around the hard lens, which really improves comfort. But you are right! They are really expensive. If you did try them and didnt like them – you would just be out the fitting fee(which is still probably between 150-200 dollars). And the synergeyes is custom made to your prescription and size. So it might be worth a shot! Consult with doctor first to see if they would recommend it with your prescription. Hope this helps!
