Question : i downloaded the google maps application to my a-gps phone, will i get charged?
so my phone has assisted gps, it came with telenav but only a 14 day trial, then i have to buy a $ 9.99 month subscription. I found google maps for mobile online download. it works like a charm. will i get charged for it?

Google Maps uses two parts of your phone – the GPS to understand where you are, and the mobile data service to download images of maps to display on the screen.

So if you don’t have a data plan, be aware, GPS map programs use your plan.

In terms of non-carrier costs, all Google services, even mobile, are generally free to download and use.
