Question : I bought a car in MD and instead of the usual sale procedure the seller who is a car dealer told his system is?
different. He took me to a relative tags and title office ( a legitimate MD title and tags) and the relative processed temporary tags and registration in my name and told me I will receive the title in the mail in 15 day’s. I never saw the title or filled up any paper work, the deal was sealed through a word of trust which means that I have no evidence of the transaction. In fact the person who sold me the car is a dealer working in his backyard and he had more than 10 cars for sale. So somehow I felt that the deal was not very clean however I figured that the temporary registration was probably enough . So my question is since I have a temporary registration from MVA does that guarantee that I will get the title? How about if I don’t receive the title am I done?
car systems for sale

You screwed up. Any time you buy a car out right you ALWAYS receive a title on the spot. Not days or weeks later. You bought a stolen car! Go to DMV, get them to run VIN# to know for sure.
