Question : how do i unlock all channels on handheld scanner?
somehow, i’ve managed to lock out all the channels on my handheld PRO-95 dual trunk-tracking handheld scanner from radioshack. the screen has 0123456789 on the top line, ++++++++++ on the second line and “all channels locked out!” on the third and fourth lines. the owner’s manual is complete gibberish to me. i need to get it back to scanning the police/fire channels asap. help?

most scanners have one button that says scan, and another that says manual. if it’s saying all channels locked out you most likely need to manually go one at a time and press a button that says l/o or maybe a pic of a lock, then the display should deactivate the locked out message. you will need to check all programmed channels to unlock all of them.
I am having the same problem with a similar scanner. If you find an easy answer, would you please let me know. My problem is that someone gave me the scanner, without the users manual, and I don’t want to print 88 pages. My children were messing with the scanner, now it won’t do anything, and the screen also reads “all channels locked out”. I don’t know how to work anything except the scan button…..LOL
