@pettway2000 28 miles is the advertised mile, not the actual miles. I don’t drive 28 miles in a circle and assume it’s a 28 mile range radio.

The maximum range is ” line of sight ” meaning from hill top to hole top as an example. Buildings, trees terrain all play a part in actual range

I bought my Alecto walkie talkie..
It can range 7 kilometers, but I tried it and it can’t even range 600 meters or something. Can you help me? I need some advice. Maybe my channel aint good or something. Is their any trick to make it better. If no. What kind of walkie talkie you prefer me to buy.. I want it to be professional and I want it to have no problem with small buildings , because the one of the police doesn’t have any problems with buildings. Thanks

Good video, but I don’t think the range is actually 28 miles. I think the maximum range on these top out at one mile, regardless of the Motorola claim. Nice radios to have for fun though. Thanks for the video.
