Question : Safe to mount flat screen tv in a camper?
Is it safe to mount a flat screen tv in a camper? I am just worried about what all the bumps and rough riding would do to a flat screen. Does it hurt them? They seem fragile! lol

I don’t have a full or complete answer. but these are a few things I’d consider.

1) Make sure where ever you mount the mounting bracket is beyond strong. the bumps could cause it to rip right off

2) I would go LCD, not plasma. They can go in colder temperatures (overnight) and are less fragile. The also have plastic on the front, not glass, so again less fragile.

3) Make sure which ever mount you buy has lock tabs at the bottom so it can’t “fall” off the mounting bracket

Otherwise, I’d do it.
