Developing Black and White Film – Part 1
photo developing
Instructional video introducing the various equipment needed for B&W film developing as well as the procedure to load the film into the developing tank. Sorry for the rather poor audio quality. Will post up part 2 if response is good, because it did take quite alot of work to produce this video. Disclaimer: This video is not meant to be a difinitive guide on the developing process, and is solely meant to share my workflow which may be unacceptable to others. Do read up more on the process if you do want to start developing your own film.

@patricksab I suppose it’s how much control you wish to have over the finished product…. this is hands on, as opposed to mass production via machine; secondly, it may be too costly for the avid photographer (amateur or pro) to send every roll to a store (though there is the time factor to be considered), and lastly, the process may be enjoyed for its own sake as a hobby. I am a novice and these are the reasons I’m looking to return to my old manual slr 35mm film photography.
