Question : are there any cell phone rental places in israel?
i mean, not the ones where you rent a phone to use while touring israel.
i know all of the talk n save and amigo stuff. but is there something like that where i can rent a cell phone, pick it up in jerusalem, and use it in america?

i’ve actually checked this out before. it turns out that talk n save has a cell phone rental for america and they have the cheapest prices, actually. rental phones are always expensve, but if you’re only going to be using it for what you absolutely need it shouldn’t be too bad. you can go to talk n save and rent the cell right in jerusalem…

basically the phone is $ .99 a day (its just a plain nokia, i think) and there is an option for insurance which isn’t that expensive.all calls are pretty much $ .29 a minute, either incoming or outgoing calls. texts are also $ .29
