Question : is it legal to copy a dvd to vhs and sell them both together?
Is it legal to copy a dvd to vhs and sell them both together? I know it would be illegal to sell just the vhs. But I also know that it is legal to copy a movie for your own back up use if you own the original. So is it legal to sell both the copied version and the original together as one?

yes…cuz your taking a vhs sale away from the movie ppl-who buys vhs anymore anyway?

I’d say that it is legal, as long as you didn’t duplicate either and plan on selling or giving away those to anyone else. Basically, in my mind, selling both would be like the buyer making their own backup copy.
