I am going to attend TDIs handgun training?
Question : I am going to attend TDIs handgun training?
I wear eyeglasses and was wondering if these sort of places require safety glasses or if my eye glasses will do?
I would also like a website (if you got one) that sells RX safety glasses for under 150 bucks….So far all the ones I have found are 200 or more.
I cannot wear anything over my glasses as it distorts my vision, but I do know that my glasses are polycarb.

Call the place that’s putting on the training and ask if your regular glasses are OK.
Also, a lot of optical stores sell glasses with polycarbonate lenses for a lot less than $ 150. Try Eyemasters or Optical Clinic or something similar. You can find them in most malls.
You should call and ask about the safety glasses, I believe they have safety goggles that fit over regular glasses. To be honest, you should have safety lens in you every day glasses. Why take chances with yours eyes.
I changed to the new photo gray lens safety glasses, not cheap, They have a tint that darkens with the amount of light it is exposed to. It goes to dark sunglass tint when out side or even while driving during the day. I have them and really like them. The transition glasses won’t change inside your car, but the photo grays will. Lenscrafters had a special and just lenses in my frames cost $ 289, and took two weeks. I think COSTCO and WAL-MART optical shops have them too.
