why does my contact lens has a white dot?

Question : why does my contact lens has a white dot?
i be using this contact lences for 7 months i have the whole year contact lences… and recentely i notice a white dot in one of my contact and it cant be removed. Do any body know why?

you should probably call ur eye doctor…..i work at one and most of the time its just a bad lense

Sounds like a protein deposit. If you have soft contact lenses the deposit is IN the lens, not just ON it. Time for a new pair?

Yep, David is right, it’s a protein deposit.

Which means that your lens is finished.

It’s too late now, but have you been using protein remover tablets with those lenses ?

If not, then you should be.

if you have astigmatism, it’s normal to have two lines on each side of the lens.Otherwise it’s protien deposits.
