Question : Is my broadband ISP (Cablevision) limiting my bandwidth because of Xbox 360 downloads?
I’ve never had any problem with my internet connection on my computer, but now it’s very slow, 2 days after I probably downloaded over 1.5gb of game demos from xbox live. Is it possible Cablevision is limiting my speeds?

The best way to find out is calling the Cablevision support.

There are some service providers, that will throttle bandwith, if you exceed a certain amount of download volume.

However 1.5 GB should not trigger this slowdown.
If so, I highly recommend switching to another service provider.
