Question : Has anyone replaced an Acer 723p projector lamp with a higher luminosity lamp, or is it possible?
The lamp for my Acer 723p has gone out. Could I purchase a lamp that has more luminosity (from an Acer 725p as an example) as a replacement? They bodies are identical. But I am not sure if it would work. I am under the impression that it would. The lamps look to be identical in shape and size. Of course, could my Acer 723p expel the heat of the better lamp?

The expelling of additional heat generated by a higher luminosity lamp is the key factor for determining whether or not to go with an upgrade lamp. I would check with the manufacturer’s support department for more info on this possible alteration.
