Personally, I would go toward 16:9 aspect ratio monitors: 1600×900, 1920×1080, IPS panel like DELL UltraSharp U2311H or NEC MultiSync EA231WMi-BK. I don’t like when colors are not natural. if you don’t care about color reproduction then your monitor is fine for gaming.
