I don’t have experience with that model. From outside they look the same as the second set. They differ only in the ear cushion… iPod – you need an adaptor

I had the same problem, what worked for me was to tune in to channel one or the upper channel in the base. After that i had no problems. hope it helps for u too

i have the TMR-RF960R and they have the white noise problem.. it pisses me off so bad! does anyone no how to fix it?

@dfabella31 to my ears the old set sounds better when listen to music – softer sound if I can say that. The new one is better to listen on TV… Well, in other word, the sound on the old set is better….

The old set is 268 grams and the new one is 300 grams.
