Question : Fundraising for mommy social network. Would you be interested?
Hey everyone!!

I’ve been looking for a social network for mothers to be and parents in general were I could share stories, upload pictures, ask questions, upload video etc… however i haven’t been very successful as of yet. If any of you have any Idea where i could find such a website please let me know.

If not, then i would like to start a new one. Where we would be able to do everything i’ve mentioned above and more. However i can not afford the cost of the software,hosting, and domain name by myself since i have to save for my new baby also. If any of you would be interested in helping me finance such a website (Facebook/ My space but for parents only) please contact me and we can talk about it more in details.

PS: I have experience working online + My partner is a programmer and he is willing to help.

Also even if you can’t help financial I would like to know if any of you would be interested in having a special social network for us parents and parents to be and?

I think you have a really good idea here, one that could go quite far if you put some hard work into. Maybe start a face book group up to begin with.. see what kind of reponse you get. Then start putting advertisements up on the internet as you have done here.
If you go to your local CAB there are funds available to set up new business ventures – maybe give that ago? And as addition to you site, you could do help forums for mums about tantrums, depression, sleeping patterns, faq’s. I think this idea could go quite far with the right name and aim. GOOD LUCK
