Contact lenses?
Question : Contact lenses?
Can I get contacts that I can use all the time (non-disposable ones)/is there such a thing? How much are they about (Canadian)? And, do I just go to my eye doctor and request them, or do they need to be specially made?
I am so clueless when it comes to this… I’ve had glasses for about 7 years… and I DON’T want to use them anymore! Help is very much appreciated!

There’s contacts that you can leave in for about a month and then take out, I don’t know about forever though.
Good Luck.

You would need to go the the eye Dr. and get your eyes checked to see if you can wear contacts. If you can he can advise you what kind he recommends. He is the one to give you the best info for YOUR eyes. As for the cost that depends on your Dr. and the kind he wants you to wear. There are ones you can wear for a week, month and ones for a year but they all should be taken out from time to time. Get his advise.

Most all of the contact lenses are disposable. I don’t think you would want any other kind. You can get daily wear, or something like Focus Day and Night that you can sleep with them in your eyes. Although, I wouldn’t unless I had to. The best thing would be to go to the eye doctor for an eye exam and he/she will be able to recommend what type of lenses would be best for you. They are not specially made and you can even order them online once you have a prescription.

Hey. I have contacts that last 4 months. I have astigmastism. I think you can 6 month ones but sooner or later all all contacts are disposable. As long as you don’t have astigmatism contacts aren’t that expensive.
Just tell your eye doctor that you want contacts and what exactly you want from your contacts. It’s really easy. There awsome and really easy to use!!
Good luck!!

I have never used disposable lenses. I have been wearing hard contacts a long time. However, I know for a fact that there are contacts that you can sleep in for about a week and then you would have to change them out. My optometrist and I talked about it a few years ago. And I’m sure it’s even more updated since then. I would suggest that you go to your eye doctor and have a consutation. There are so many different types of contacts from when I started wearing them. Good luck!
