Yes, both my Router and devices are Gigabit Ethernet capable.

CAT6 cables are rated for the speed of gigabit. But top grade CAT5E would work as well. Check your connection between your computer and router and see if it says 1000Mbps instead of 100Mbps. If it says 100 you need a CAT6 cable.
Otherwise your setup should be fine.

You just need to ensure that you are using any Cat 5E or Cat 6 cables as they are gigabit, pretty much everything uses Cat 5E cables now.
Also you need to ensure that the network card in your computer is gigabit
Its a pretty simple test to see if it is going by gigabit, just copy a large file to another computer over the network and see how fast it is transferring. If it is going faster then a 100meg network would then you are going by gigabit
