Question : Wireless cable TV transmitter?
My dad has been promising me for years (since I was 11 I am now 20!) that he would install cable in my room. However, he has never gotten around to it and I know for a fact he wouldn’t want me to drill holes in the wall or anything. I personally would be fine with a cable that ran across the floor, but he wouldn’t go for that. I am looking for a way to wirelessly transmit cable TV.

I know they sell devices that can transmit video signals, but I want to transmit the actual cable signal, so I could actually tune with my TV and watch something differently than the rest of my TVs in my house.

They don’t exist and if someone built an illegal one, it would cause interference (which is why they are illegal!).

You could use a video sender and an Rf remote extender combined with something like an old VCR to get a wireless signal, but a real wired cable is a far better solution. Perhaps you are old enough that you should read up a bit about TV cable installation and then ask you father to show you how to to do it.
