How uncomfortable are hard (rigid gas permeable) contact lenses compared to soft lenses?
Question : How uncomfortable are hard (rigid gas permeable) contact lenses compared to soft lenses?
I’m tired of having to constantly replace my soft lenses plus I’ve heard that hard lenses have long term benefits of preventing your eyesight from getting worse? I’m just scared that hard lenses will hurt

They don’t hurt, but it’s true that gas perms aren’t as comfy as soft. If your eye doctor recommends them, I’d say give gas perms a try.
I can’t wear the soft ones because my eyes are too bad.
I’ve been wearing gas permeable contacts since I was 16 (so, 34 years or so). I can’t feel them at all, but it’s horrible if you happen to leave them in when you fall asleep.
