Question : Is there a portable video player that does not need conversion or syncing software?
Is there a portable media player that does NOT need to convert or ‘sync’ the video files from my PC ? I would like to be able to just drag and drop the media files to the player as if it were an external hard drive ? I tried Ipod, Zune and Sansa but they all come with a conversion/syncing software that needs to convert files before uploading to the player. I find this process a hassle. Please help …? Thanks

A laptop.

The smaller devices use compression so that the processor doesn’t need to use as much electricity trying to shrink the output to fit the screen.
