Question : How do you get ear wax off of foam headphones?
I have a set of Shure in-ear headphones with soft foam tips meant to expand and fill the ear canal. Unfortunately, I don’t use q-tips before every use, so I get a pretty nasty ear wax buildup after a few weeks. When I try to scrape it with my fingernail or other object, some of the wax comes off but most of it just seems to spread around. Does anyone have a good method for getting rid of this wax?

Well if you read the instructions Shure allows you to wash your ear plugs. That’s the way your suppose to get it out, also in your little bag of ear plugs with all the different kinds, there should be a little plastic stick with a little metal tip. That’s to be used to scrape out ear wax from the little hole that pushed our music. But the ear foam tips can be washed. Dont blow dry them; just leave them on a table until the water dries up.
