Question : I want to lease with zero down and a 530 score is this possible on a used car??
I was hoping to get an SUV of some kind but I have Zero down. With a really good paying job and i’ve been working there for 6 years. Do you think i could get into something??
to the gentlemen that asked why i can’t pay money down. I am paying for a wedding and i don’t have money to spare. I was asking a question not asking for advice. I appreciate that you tryed to help but please stick to the question. thanks

maybe not with zero money down, proabably you need at least $ 500 down

You don’t lease a used car. Nobody writes leases on used vehicles, only new cars offer leases.
On a loan with zero down you’re going to need a better score than 530.
My question to you is, with a good paying job why can’t you come up with $ 1000 for a down payment? You’re going to need cash for insurance, for registration and tag fees. You’re going to need cash to get into any vehicle. And what of the car requires a little work. How are you going to pay for that if you can’t come up with some cash.
Save up some money for a down payment and maybe that will help secure your loan.

1. dont lease a used car, if you even can lease a used car?
2. with a credit score of 530 your are almost certainly going to need money down.
3. if you have a good paying job then save a little money and just buy something for $ 1k, then run it for as long as you can and save money for a good down payment on a new car while your doing that.
4. try to reestablish your credit some while your running around in your junker and you dont have a car payment -

Don’t take this the wrong way…I am not lecturing, just pointing out a few things to help you.
With a 530 credit score, you will be lucky to be approved on anything. Why zero down?…there is pattern here. Go into a car deal with as much money down as you can save up, with your score you should have at least 20 percent down payment. It will help you to be approved, it will help with a lower monthly payment and will teach you self discipline of saving….which may explain the credit score you now have.

Qualifying for a lease works like this: If you can get a lease you an get a loan, the reverse is not true. To qualify for 0 down even with your work history would require a beacon score in the 600+ range or someone working the desk to get drunk-it’s happened. I’ve looked at 10′s of thousands of these and the law of averages is heavily with the drunk. Your work history is one to be proud of, but the 530 is yours as well, and I’ve wished and wanted these things to death and could not push them past the people on the other ends of those phones we have to call to get a lease or loan approved.
