Question : phone lines tapped, voice activated recorders, etc???
how can I tell if my phone lines are tapped, or if there are voice activated recorders placed in my home?
LOL, no, I am not a criminal, I am married to a very controlling man, who recently got even more controlling. I feel like I can’t speak to friends and family about it at home…only on my cell phone.

there are many easy ways, and several repeated clicking sounds are offten very good indicators too wire taps, a few simple emf readers from radioshack can sweep for bugs. The easieast way to figure it out is this.. Are u smuggling cocaine ? marijunana ? Meth ? Or black market babies ? if you answer yes to any of the above, I say enjoy your time on gitmo

An old generic spy trick is to take a portable radio and turn it to the lowest frequency (lowest FM station). That will act as a receiver to pick up wireless video and audio output. It may not work with some of the more modern listening devices.
This isn’t effective for phone taps. For your phone, open the phone and check the audio receiver (where you talk). You should also go to your basement and check the box that connects your home to the external phone lines. Look for something out of the ordinary. If you find anything, contact your phone company and they will send out a technician. Aural recordings without consent are a felony in many states. If something is found, be prepared for the tech reporting his findings. Your boyfriend could get in some trouble.

I can tell you what I did.
I wrote a letter to the phone company.
I said that I had reason to suspect phone was tapped.
I gave chapter and verse on suspicions.
I requested that if there was no big cost to find out if phone tapped, could they please check that out. If there is a cost to this, to please reply by snail mail what the cost is, so I can decide whether or not to pay for that.
Please do not reply by phone if not yet figured out.A few days later they phoned to say the phone was not tapped.
Finding electronic equipment that is spying on you, is a whole other challenge. You can pay some private detective agency to do an electronic sweep of your home.

Who cares if you are a criminal or not. You still have rights and require a court order to tap your line.
Only the Nazi law enforcement would make excuses for why you might have your phones tapped.
The best thing is to not even have a home phone. Use prepaid phones and be vague about specific details on them.

Try RADIO SHACK,they offer a device to pick up frequency of “bug”. If not available get on net check on SPY WARE,for same info.If you think lines are bugged,they probably are. Cell phone can be tapped also,via radio frequency,BE CAREFUL,cell is not safe! If you must use a Disposable – cell,available at ant dept store,pay as you go. Sounds like you better get out of a dangerous situation. GOOD LUCK!

Over here, there is a voice mail for the normal telephone service which uses the cable line. Not the mobile phone. The thing is that TM never tells its’ clients when they have that voice mail service. The clients also did not ask for the service.So it is advisable not to leave any message in the voice mail. And in some government agencies like the police, when you ring them up, your number shows automatically that is if the line is the correct line. So before you call any government agencies, make sure you really need to call them because from the number, they know where you are. You can’t lie to them.

If you’re doing something extremely illegal, the answer is probably yes. If you just pissed off your xboyfriend and think he’s spying on you. The answer is no. But just in case, and you’re doing a lot of Meth, the only way to be sure is to take everything apart and put it back together again.

It’s fairly difficult to have your phones tapped, and if he’s being super controlling about who you talk to there is most likely a LOT of insecurity there. I agree that you should probably leave him, but if you don’t see that as an option, perhaps you should try to destroy whatever preconceived notions he has. If he’s afraid that you’re going to cheat on him, you “might” be sending the wrong signals, or he’s just really really paranoid, and there’s probably not going to be much you can do other than leave him, or deal with it. As for the phone taps, if you’re not guilty of anything, it shouldn’t matter if he listens in on your calls. It’s not right, and it’s an intrusion into your privacy, which is very wrong, but eventually he’ll stop listening if he truly is.
