Question : Two Way Radios: Maxon SL25 or Kenwood TK1118 rip off?
I’m looking for a reliable set of professional two way radios with UHF capabilities between 400-470mhz and my choice is split between these too options:

Two lightly used Maxon SL25s for $ 95/€75
or
Two new Chinese copycat versions of the Kenwood TK1118 w/ ear pieces for $ 120/€95

I would go with the Maxon.

I would prefer REAL Kenwoods, but if they really are chinese made, they are not Kenwood.

What people do not know about the CHinese rip off radios is that they are made using slave labor by the Chinese National Police.
