Governor of Virginia’???? S Energy Conference to include propane as an alternative fuel solution

In the first governor of’???? s Energy Conference, Roy Willis, president and CEO of the Propane Education; Research Council (PERC) will discuss the research, development and marketing of propane vehicles and how this work will help the United States to achieve its goals of reducing dependence on foreign oil and cleaning the environment.
Organized by the Governor of Virginia Bob McDonnell, the conference at the state and federal regulatory activities, alternative energy projects, research and development at universities of Virginia and the ideas of energy will focus new technologies and government and business. Stuart Weide, President of Auto Gas Alliance, a network of retail propane sales and business will speak during the A? Virginia Energy Innovatorsâ? Panel. T. Boone Pickens will be opening speech.
â? Propane should be at this important conference of leading edge, â? said Roy Willis. â? In Virginia and in the country, propane vehicles can play an important role in providing a cost effective solution for transportation, with economic and environmental benefits that can play are identified immediately.
â? Propane is used by millions of Americans for transportation, commercial, industrial and agricultural applications, a second-hand? According to the U.S. Department of Energy, is already feeding about 270,000 propane vehicles in the fleet, including buses, trucks, taxis and vans by the United States. Worldwide, more than 13 million vehicles run on propane gas. There are propane filling stations in the United States there are filling stations for all other alternative fuels including ethanol.
Propane is the only alternative fuel to petrol stations in each state.
