@angie99isme The problem was that there where no building codes in haiti. People built shacks all over the place without structure due to being poor and needed just a roof over their head. However, the weak government did not regulate anything. And, it is just not the Preval, it is a problem on going for years. To be earthquake resistent a home need to have metal inside the cinder blocks for reinforcement. In haiti, only people with money would be able to afford such a reinforcement.

Ok Im just gonna through this out there and know before I say it that Im gonna sound kinda nutty but w/e, Thats not an earthquake like any earthquake I have ever seen. Very localized, the fences dont move, at all, and even the ground cones and traffic baricade doesnt fall over. furthermore how many people do you know can drive straight when the ground is moving under them. Notice how cars only stop to watch the building fall. Thats no quake, im callin shenanagans somewhere. maybe it was HAARP.

America is now occupying Haiti just like they did in 1915 when the US President said it was to “protect American and foreign” interests. America has been constantly disrupting democracy in Haiti. Now they are using the earthquake to their advantage. US imperialists want to exploit Haitians (..). America intends to import drugs into Haiti to stupefy the people and make them reluctantly accept exploitative slave wages to make wealth for US companies (not Haitains). -
