Question : How come office workers in modern television shows are always using cell phones instead of a landline?
Have you noticed that? Jack is always answering his cell phone, understandable? But why is “Zoe” back at interpol even getting called on her cell phone? Why not call the landline? Why are basic office workers walking around with cordless cell phones in an office talking about work?

Why not show it like it is in real life? Corded landline phones still make up 90% (or more) of office phones.

It could be that the cellphone companies massive advertising carries over to shows…more exposure, more sales.
Pepsi and Coke have both paid to be featured in films.
